Elder Tim Binion – “Jesus Is The Answer” Brother Binion reminds us that Jesus is our “everything.” Belief ON Christ is the ONLY thing that saves. True salvation is the only thing that will take us to Heaven. We are likened unto the “Prodigal Son”” who was grandly welcomed home when he turned his back to his “sinful” and worldly” ways, and turned by faith to his father. There is safety in Christ. No condemnation. Perfect refuge. Jesus died for our sins … because of our sins, and we can have eternal life when we place our faith in Jesus as our Saviour – the One Who died for our sins and forgives us our sins. Jesus saves us and places His love in our hearts – the evidence of true salvation. How? Through salvation we have a “new life.” Salvation is an experience the wan know about, and we are saved and assured that there is a place in Heaven for us when we die. We are forgiven … we are set free from the condemnation for our sins. We are His We are bought with a price. When we have been saved we have a new and “lively hope” that is anchored in Christ. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.”
