Isaiah 44:1-8. Those who have been “saved” or, “born again” are a chosen, special people who belong to the Lord. We have been made righteous in the eyes of the Lord. God blesses His people in all generations. We should NEVER forget who we are and Whose we are … children of The King. We know this by the witness of the Holy Spirit of God upon the saved and upon His “TRUE” Church. We have been “set free” from the bondage of sin by Our Saviour, and we are His witnesses in the world – in every age. He is our Rock, our Foundation. The world is trying to form our identities, but we must be known by our unique identity in Christ. Our true identity is eternal and we shall be known in Heaven as we are known in this life on Earth. We must let nothing keep us from serving Jesus Christ. Time here is the “dressing place” for Eternity – either in Heaven or in Hell. Even after we have been saved we must “live up” to our new identity and not be casual with our lives. Judgment is coming to this Earth. Why? Because of SIN! “Our Eternity is important to our Identity”, and “Our Identity is important to our Eternity!” We are instructed to live out our lives here just as we want to be known in Heaven. Those who have been saved are special, unique, changed, redeemed and consecrated to God, and we are to be “followers of the Lamb.”
