• What strides can the church and ministers take to demonstrate the relevance of a Gospel message that has spanned all of existence since the time of creation, to the current world of today?
by L. S. Walker – The Doctrine of Church Discipline is founded on the emphatic Word of God. Undisciplined churches are robbed of their power to witness effectively for the Lord, because of sin, in their membership. In this they are severing their fellowship with their Lord. God cannot, He will not, bless a church in sin.
By H. C. Vanderpool – While living in Louisville, Kentucky I was privileged to meet Col. Harlan Sanders and discuss with him his spiritual condition. He told me he was a Christian and how wonderfully God had blessed him. In addition to his conversation with me, he gave some of the experiences of his life and his Christian experience
by Pastor Tim – Is man twofold or a threefold being? Are soul and spirit one and the same or should we distinguish between them? This article will examine both theories and try to answer some of these questions. The twofold theory is called Dichotomy and the threefold theory is called Trichotomy.
by Pastor Tim – Baptist growth accelerated in the 18th century largely as a result of the movement known as the Great Awakening. In the 19th century the Baptists, like most other Protestant denominations, split over the issue of slavery. This led to the formation of the Southern Baptist Convention in 1845.
by Pastor Tim – Restoring the Biblical practice of self-examination and self-awareness should take center stage following the religious drift of the twentieth century. Many take for granted that their possession is equal to their profession. It’s time we push for a real heart probing search on the part of every professing Christian.

Cause and effect continues to shape us culturally and traditionally. Understanding this influence may serve us as a Spiritual compass preserving progress and preventing extremism.
The Christian religion as a power in the soul, redeeming and transforming it, is its own best evidence.
by J. M. Carroll – The Eternal Security Of All Blood Bought Believers; (I John 5:13). I press the point that believers now have “eternal life.” Not that they may have it, but they now have it.
by Judson Taylor (1856) – Liberalism has taken the place of Persecution. Persecution killed men, but prospered the cause; whilst Liberalism kills the cause by flattering men into compromises. Persecuted Truth has survived in all ages, but Compromised Truth never survives
by Pastor Tim – A Change in the Covenant is clearly expressed by calling it a ‘new,’ covenant (Heb 9:15), the ‘second’ covenant ( Heb 8:7), and a ‘better’ covenant (Heb 7:22 & Heb 9:16-17). However, only the nature of the covenant changed at the coming of the Lord and not the original promise.
by John Keen, Jr. – The purpose of this article is to expose the danger in teaching that God has already forgiven all sins (present and future) of the saved and the error in concluding there is no judgment of the saved’s “deeds of the flesh” at the Judgment Day.
