Elder Jerry Miller teaches about Christians as the "Guardians of The Truth". Brother Miller teaching about Preserving, Securing, and Guarding “The Truth.” A guardian is one to whom anything is committed for the preservation from injury. A church which fails to honor and observe the doctrines and the truth as stated, defined and described in The Holy Scriptures is no longer a TRUE church. The problem with some so-called churches is that they have failed to be faithful guardians of the truth. Brother Miller illustrates the meaning of being a guardian by sharing from his experiences as a soldier on “guard duty.” We must first "know" the Truth before we can be “guardians” of the Truth. Ultimately, our battle is with the Devil and his ministers who have deceived men and convinced them to depart from The Truth. He asks, Are we willing to stand for The Truth … against those things that war against The Truth. How do we combat error? With The Truth! We ought not to “back away” from preaching and teaching The Truth. The proof of how much we love The Lord is revealed by how much we love The Truth and are willing to defend it.
