Salvation And The Doctrine Of Baptism
the Doctrine of Salvation and Baptism. In salvation you give your heart to the Lord in Baptism you give you body. It expresses in emblem the believers death to sin and resurrection to newness of life (which occurred in repentance and faith). The church is under obligation to keep it as we receive it. Because the scriptures are so clear, so unequivocal, and so numerous, which teach that to make disciples is equivalent to leading men to repentance and faith, It would be unlawful, wrong and unscriptural to baptize man, woman, or child without evidence of personal discipleship. Blood before water. . . water before church membership. Salvation separates you from sin; ---- Baptism separates you from sinners; Repentance & Faith Private ---Baptism is Public; Salvation Internal --- Baptism External; Salvation is of Grace ---- Baptism Works; Salvation separates you from sin; ---- Baptism separates you from sinners. An official act must be performed by an officer. An officer must have been put in office by the organization under which he holds office and to which he is responsible for the exercise of official functions.

The true God has the Sovereign right to offer salvation to the whole world. Dr. Augustus Strong wrote: "The scriptures represent the atonement as having been made for all men, and as sufficient for the salvation of all."
