Pastor Tim Binion 2 Chronicles 34:1 God’s True Church is the manner through which He prepares souls for Heaven. Jesus came to give us “Eternal Life.” Josiah became King of Israel when he was but 8 years old and he was a righteous King. He purged Israel of all the idols and places of false worship that his father and grand-father had established. He then set about to repair and rebuild the Temple and a great revival took place in Israel. Josiah was a humble man and he responded to the call to return the land to God. He was repentant. He prayed and sought God with all his heart, and distinguished himself as one of the greatest and most noble kings of Israel. Josiah was a man of faith from his early days as King of Israel. God changed Josiah and He can change each of us as well. God changes things. God changes lives. There is always evidence of the “change” that God accomplishes in our soul. It is imperative that we strive to know God. True religion is not a “social” form of religion … it is more than mere works and appearances. Honoring the Word of God will change lives, and blessings will certainly flow, followed by genuine worship. Jesus must be “restored” and be lifted up, then lives will be changed and souls will be saved.
