Psalm 127 Except The Lord Keep Us
Psalms 127 is a song sung by pilgrims journeying up to Jerusalem for the major feasts. This Psalm reminds the Pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem that all of life’s securities and blessings are gifts from God rather than their own achievements. It required time, sacrifice and expense. It required trust that things would be safe - while you leave everything behind to worship.THREE THINGS CONSIDERED: Worker (building a House) – Watcher (who is watching over a city) – Worrier- ( who gets up early and stays up late).
Scripture References: Psalms 127:1-5, Exodus 34:24
